Classes & CONSULTING: In Person & Virtual
My virtual classes are part of the The Approach™ umbrella of courses and instruction. As of late 2023, classes include:
The Bootcamp-A comprehensive audition preparation process, including script analysis, character development, audition technique, as well as self-tape and in-person tools. This is a pre-requisite course to studying with me in my virtual on-camera classes.
Actor Finances-Because you can feel good about your finances as an actor, and THIS course will set you on the right path to success.
DECODE Series-A trio of courses for your materials, your experience on set, and your market (and possibly moving to Atlanta).
The Approach™ Mastermind Group-A year-long community, with applications opening each year in August, for the following year’s enrollment, upon approval and acceptance.
Virtual On-Camera Class-This class may return in 2026, at the soonest. Classes will be Tuesdays 11am-2pm eastern. Students must complete The Bootcamp prior to enrolling in this class.
Students & Clients…
This is a very small sampling of the kind and heartfelt feedback I receive regularly when working with actors, and it’s why I do what I do. When YOU win, I win.
Actors-You are the ones who do the hard work, week in, week out, session after session. Your words are always appreciated. Your career pursuits are noble, art is a career, and your journey is to be respected.
CONSULTING: I may be offering a limited number of 1:1 consulting appointments as my schedule allows in December 2024.
These 1:1 sessions will take place via zoom, or in person (Atlanta), and we’ll do a deep dive on all your actor materials and industry related questions.
You’ll send me your materials (AA/CN links, .pdf of your resume, industry questions) no less than 48-hours prior to your appointment, so I can prepare fully (and not just answer on the fly like many industry coaches do).
You’ll leave the session with a customized .pdf with actionable steps to upgrade your materials, along with a strategic approach to the next 365-days of your career, along with a link to discounts on many industry resources, including headshot photographers, classes and coaches, and even WeAudition.
In Person Classes: My home for classes in the Atlanta area is at Drama Inc. You can learn all about the class offerings from the passionate and experienced staff, by clicking HERE. I teach a variety of classes, including On-Camera Advanced (OCA, FKA OC3) and From Audition To Set. Class sizes are small, work is challenging but encouraging, and you will get honest feedback.
A personal note: Atlanta and the southeast are a force to be reckoned with. We have all the passion, professionalism, and talent of LA and NYC. As such, actors are competing for larger and larger roles every day. That requires us to be BETTER than good, better than so many others, and better than we used to be able to get away with. Let me help. No matter where you’re located, my job isn't necessarily to teach you how to act. My job is to make you a better actor, tighten up your technique, both in the room and on-camera, and to give you the ability to handle directional changes at a moment's notice by understanding the clues inherent in any script.
Thanks again and I look forward to working with you.
Alex
